About Nurture

Is this a diagnosis?

No. Nurture helps you understand your child’s everyday development and plan support at home. Only a qualified professional can diagnose, and the report is written so you can take it to one.

My child already has a diagnosis. Is Nurture still useful?

Yes. Many families use it between therapy sessions, to see how each area is going, get activities for home, and share a clear summary with the therapist. Checking in every six weeks or so shows what has changed.

I’m worried, but we have no diagnosis. Where do I start?

Start with the free home assessment. If something stands out, the report says which kind of professional to talk to and what to tell them. Our Learn pages explain common conditions in plain words.

How is this different from a free checklist online?

Online checklists are the same for every child. Nurture’s questions adapt to your child’s age and answers, and the report is built from what you told us, with a page for your care team and a plan for home. You can also check in again and see what changed.

Who made the questions?

Nurture is built with clinicians, on established developmental frameworks used by child-development professionals. We keep the wording plain for parents, and the same answers always give the same result.

Your child and the home assessment

What ages does it cover?

18 months to 18 years. The questions change with your child’s age, so a toddler and a teenager get very different home assessments.

What does it look at?

Everyday areas such as milestones, everyday independence, connecting and communicating, attention and activity, and, for teenagers, mood and wellbeing. You only see the areas that fit your child’s age.

How long does it take?

About 15–20 minutes, on your phone, most questions are quick tick-lists. It saves as you go, so you can stop and come back. The report is usually ready within a couple of minutes of finishing.

What do Meeting milestones, Keep monitoring and Needs attention mean?

Meeting milestones: in line with what’s expected for the age. Keep monitoring: keep an eye on it and try the home activities. Needs attention: raise it with a professional. We never show scores or diagnosis labels.

How often should I do a home assessment?

Every six weeks or so. That’s long enough for home activities to make a difference you can see in the next report.

Can I add more than one child?

Yes. Each child has their own home assessments, reports and home programme.

Reports, plans and payments

What do I get for free?

The whole home assessment, and the first pages of every report: what stood out in each area, in plain words.

What does the full report include?

A tailored PDF: each area explained, what you told us, a page for your child’s doctor or therapist, and a home programme with activities room by room. You can keep it and share it.

Can I share the report with our doctor, therapist or school?

Yes. Download the PDF, send it on WhatsApp, or make a private link that stops working after a few days. We never share it for you.

What if I’m not happy with it?

Tell us. If something is wrong with your report we will fix it, and our refund policy explains when we refund.

Privacy and safety

Is my child’s data safe? Who can see it?

Only you, and anyone you choose to share with. We ask for your child’s first name and age, not photos, surnames or school names. Data is encrypted, stored in India, never sold and never used for advertising. See Trust & privacy.

How do I delete our data?

Any time, from Settings, in one step. Can’t sign in? Use Request data removal, it’s at the bottom of every page.
